Pronoun as gaeilge

    I want to say as gaeilge: 'her father was worried about her'. Is it ok to say: 'bhi a athair buartha faoina'?? Thanks :)

    should it not be "a hathair"?

    i think faoina is correct.

    i would use "Bhi a hathair buartha faoina"

    could be miles wrong though :rolleyes:

    Nope, "faoina" doesn't work for "about her". It would be okay if you were talking about something she owns (eg. about her car = faoina carr) but the version needed here is fuithi.
