Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Disability Allowance & Cohabiting

    If one partner is on Disability Allowance and the other on Job Seekers Allowance will they both get the full Personal Rate of payment, ie. €188 each.

    (leaving means aside)

    If a male is on invalidity payment (193.50 euro per week) and his unemployed female partner and child wants to move in with the male/cohabit with the male.

    The male is not the childs father btw.The female only gets lone parent payment.

    Does the male still keep his invalidity payment and the female still keep her lone parent payment???


    Or would they end up worse off living together with the weekly finances/payments.

    Asking for a relation of mine,as he cannot seem to get a straight answer out the SW office at the moment.

    She cant keep her OPFP. Here is what they would get
    €193.50+
    €138.10+
    €29.80
    Thats if neither of them are working.
