Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    I don't care if it is kind of late, this was the best I've seen today, and the best for a long time.

    And anyway, about King Kong 1 for now, how the hell does Peter Jackson manage to do all those video diaries? I've never seen anything like that before from a director, especially such a major director as Peter Jackson. I've only watched 4 or 5 random ones but every one has been very interesting and entertaining. Oh and ****, Peter Jackson looks like he lost about 3/4's of his weight.

    Yeah.. saw this earlier on AICN alright! Great idea by Mr. Jackson and quite plausible too!

    Beats my Ei8ht thread (but originally JoBlo.com's idea) hands down! :D

    Anyways.. kinda got the feeling it was all a joke after Jack Black said "it's set in Germany in the middle of World War II... and it's great cos he helps us defeat Hitler"

    WTF?! There's no way in hell the man on that video is Peter Jackson. I'm sorry, no. I refuse to believe my eyes.

    So are they making 3 films at the same time/back-to-back? A King Kong, a King Kong: Son Of Kong and a King Kong: Into The Something Something?

    P.S. What does the spoiler refere to? I want to know if I care whether on not I know what it says.

    'King Kong: Into The Wolf's Lair' was the third title.

    It's pretty much an April Fool's Joke (at least i think so).. wouldn't suprise me if it was true, but more than likely an April Fool's Joke from Peter Jackson and cast/crew.

    Still, that's a mighty amount of effort for an April Fool's Joke... the models, interviews with cast and crew, some early effects etc.

    Uh oh. I have to put my hands up and say i fell for this. So what's the story? They're remaking the orignal King Kong film and that's it. According IMDB that's what's happening. And was the slightly less pudgy guy in the video not PJ? Surely it was and it was he winding us up. Is the whole website rubbish?

    Yeah.. it's been announced that PJ's been remaking King Kong since before 'Return of The King' was even released.

    They're putting the finishing touches on filming apparently! Will be released at Christmas.

    KongIsKing.net is genuine! Excellent site.. PJ puts up a production diary every couple of days for people to look at the set and gives us a general overview of what's going on... and PJ has lost a lot of weight!! I saw one website that thought it was Cat Stevens! :)

    The sequels however, though not confirmed, are more than likely a hugely elaborate and hugely well-executed April Fool's prank.

    C'mon... 'King Kong: Into The Wolf's Lair'..... brillant work!!
