Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Hi i tried this over in the renewables to no joy as of yet.

Any such thing as a low pressue anti scald valves? to suit pipework coming off the cylinder in the hot press with only a 1-2 metre head of 70 gallons.

    Thanks

Yes. Better than a low pressure valve is the Esbe anti-scald valve which works under flow rate rather than pressure.

The Esbe is a low pressure valve. It will work with head heights of under 1m. It will also work under high pressure.

Low pressure anti scald vales are hard to find. Infact i never seen one other than the one mentioned above....

What some lads have done is installed thermostatic bar valves which do come in low pressure but are expensive and require mounting kits to be made

    Thanks lads.
i will try track down the specific esbe valve seems to be alot of different esbe models with no mention of low pressure on their site

They can be purchased in Chadwicks or Heatmerchants. I use them on every solar installation and never had an issue yet. Excellent quality.

Kingspan sell a particular low pressure valve but cost is way too much, i.e. €260 + VAT. I pay for the Esbe approx €50 + VAT.
