Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

So is "Beats Audio" just a glorified equaliser setting or what?

    Got a HTC One. Grand phone. It has "Beats Audio".
    Now, my understanding of Beats technology is: turn the bass up a bit and bleed money out of morons.

    Listening to music, tried turning it off an on while listening to music. Sounds much better without it. I listen to a lot of rock and I like being able to actually hear the notes of the guitar. Weird, I know.

    Now maybe if I was a moronfan of gangsta rap and liked Dr Dre it would suit it, but ffs.

    Googled Beats Audio for info. Product info makes me want to stab someone it's so patronising. It's just EQ settings isn't it?

    As far as anyone I know who has it, they all turn it off to listen to music.

    Beats are ending their contract with HTC apparently.
    Good thing for HTC, imo.

    Pretty sure it is just an EQ setting alright. :pac:
    It's just an app after all, can be extracted and ran on many other androids.
