Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    First game Athlone Town v AC Milan 1975 European Cup 0-0 and Athlone missed a penalty, they are unlikely to meet that calibre of opponent again competitively anyway, in fact that Milan team would probably beat the current side if they played them tomorrow. Best game I was ever at was Ireland v Holland 2001 1-0 McAteer goal and legendary Keano performance, the fact that the crowd didn't want to go home after the game says it all.

    First game was Ireland vs Serbia a few months back, fail of a game!!! :rolleyes:

    1st game was Ireland vs. Leichtenstein in Lansdowne Rd. Around '95 or so...It finished 4-0 to Ireland.

    Best game was Man United vs. Southampton in Old Trafford on October 28th 2000...United won 5 - 0. Andy Cole scored 2 and Teddy Sheringham scored 3, brilliant atmosphere that day!

    Another good 'un I was at was Man United against Southampton on Feb 1st 1997 at Old trafford it Finished 2-1, Pallister and Cantona scored that day and Matt LeTissier scored for Southampton iirc...

    First: I think it was a LoI XI against Chelsea in Thomond Park was very young don't remember much only Cascarino was playing for Chelsea

    Best: Istanbul, 25th May 2005 can't remember who was playing ;)
