Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Had this discussion last night with a mate so hopefully AH can clear it up.

    Which is the better invention?

    Condoms or the internet

    I thought the internet as it would mean people can educate themselves further

    Condoms.

    The Internet was always destined to happen with developments in technology. It's a side effect. It's almost an accidental invention.

    Condoms however have been aroun for thousands of years & had to be developed firstly from what was around & then refined over time. Their biggest refinement has been in the last 20 or so years when they became much thinner, stronger & more sensitive, but the initial "push" to develop them came in a time when it would have been an essential.

    Condoms allowed people to have sex without pregnancy, but then again the internet taught us to pull out and jizz on a girl's face, so same result.

    With the Atari Jaguar you don't need the internet. And with the Atari Jaguar you sure as hell wont get a chance to use a condom.

    You can have sex without a condom. You cannot view the www without the Internet so while the condom is an invention it's not necessary and other means can achieve its functions whereas there is no other facility available that performs the same function as the Internet. I hate and refuse to wear condoms.

    He can preach safe sex all he wants but if there's no condoms whats the point?

    To answer the question posed by the OP, which one could you not do without if it were gone tomorrow? Definitely internet. You could always substitute with cling film or a crisp bag if condoms disappeared.
