Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Should Electric Bike threads be allowed in a cycling forum?

I am of the view that electric bike threads have no place in a cycling forum.
I would like to see the prohibited.

The key factor in cycling is that you are always using your own speed as opposed to an engine.

They belong in the commuting forum or some other bespoke forum - they are not cycling IMHO.

Should electric bike threads/queries be banned from this forum 4 votes

    I voted "couldn't care less"
Then, I went and read the thread on electric bikes.
I almost lost the will to live,.
Is there any possible way, that I can change my vote?
My sincere apologies ROK ON for skewing the result of your poll.

They're not exactly common threads, still involve an element of cycling and cycle-esque awareness of the road, and are usually obvious enough that you can skip right past them. If they help someone else by finding them here, who cares..?
