Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

hi all, not long now until cuchulainn cc Tour of Louth.
hope everyone has dusted off the child of prague to bring on the good weather.
just a few alterations from last years event.
as the fairways has closed its doors, we have a new event HQ, the gaelic grounds at dowdalls hill.
route is the same as it has always been, with one minor alteration.
event sign on is at dowdalls hill and all participants will then cycle south to the fane bridge where event will officially start from.
for safety reasons, we have neutralised the section from sign on to the fane bridge.
we would ask all participants to gather for event de breif and a quick qord on event rules and general rules of the road.
hopefully online regestration will we up and running in the next few days, and were offering online regestration at 15euro (20euro on the day)
as per usual ther will be food stops en route, located at M1 motorway (for short route) and at Long womans grave.
Refreshments will be served at the finish line in dowdalls hill after event.
there will also be a photographer en route, so give him a wave and a flash of the pearly whites.
as mentioned in earlier posts, ther will be a finishers medal for participants in both 55 and 110 km routes.
hope the last training sessions are going well, and we hope to see you at the start line.

attached find route maps, (for those unfamiliar with event) and directions to dowdallshill GAA hall from DUNDALK NORTH M1 exit.

    55k or 105k ?????
Not really done more than 70k
Depends on what my cycling partner feels he's up to.
But would the 105k be a killer?

It very flat with very little climbing apart from Jenkinstown-Long Woman's Grave. If you open the Strava link in the opening post, you can see the elevation profile.

Big dissapointment to hear they have done away with graded medals for finishing times. It's what made this event.
