Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

World At War series - WW1 equivalent???

    Hello,

    The World at War series is still the best documentary made about the second World War.

    Does anyone know which of the various series about World War 1 is the best? any that come close to World At War?

    This is good to know. Thank you. I just did a quick Google and this seems to be the very thing I was looking for.

    Do you anything about the BBC series from last year - The First World War, 10 episodes?

    How does Great war compare to it. I've been searching for the DVD but the BBC don't seem to have released it.

    I'm afraid I haven't seen that one so can't offer a comparison, sorry.

    The Great War series was re-released by one of the UK newspapers a few years ago and I picked up the complete DVD set at a jumble sale, not knowing what it was exactly.
    I was stunned, to say the least! :)
