Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Less than 5 miles apart, but journey planners all suggesting a bus into the quays and another bus back out, totalling 15 miles.

    Am I missing something?

    I'm not sure which parts you're travelling to/from, but the 151 links South Clondalkin with Lucan. The 239 connects North Clondalkin with practically all of Lucan.

    I'd say either:
    151 from south Lucan;
    239 and 76;
    or 25, 66/a/b, 67 to Liffey Valley, walk across car park, and 76 from there

    To be fair there were other buses linking Lucan with Clondalkin and Tallaght before, and they were ultimately cancelled due to lack of use.

    Looking to go pretty much from Clondalkin village (e.g. Tower Road) to Lucan village.

    It's a 35 minute walk to the 239 from Clondalkin, and about the same to the 151 from Lucan village.

    Take the 76 to Liffey Valley and switch to the 239 at the bus interchange, or from the n4, take the 25, 66/a/b or 67.

    Thanks, that's the closest yet.

    Another option would be the 151 to Foxborough and a 25a to Superquinn and walk from there.

    At what time of day?

    Put your exact locations and relevant dates and times into www.a-b.ie and tweak the settings.
