Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Richard Dawkins did a great book on evolution, another one, and in it he describes the internal structure of the giraffe neck and how mental it is. The only way it could have formed was via the adaption of previous structures in animals with less pronounced necks.
    This therefore proves evolution or that the gods had a very limited understanding of biology, which is strange given that one or all of them allegedly invented it....

    But if there were a magical sky wizard, he could use his fairy dust and wand to create anything he wanted. Giving an animal a long neck would be an easy feat to the creator of the universe.

    The fact that someone offered 500 euro for that POS is more indicative that there is no god more than anything Dawkins has said :pac:

    Which is it? Or a combination of all of the above? Sometimes its funny to see the likes of that N64, other times, it's just downright tiring to look at

    I picked an N64 up that was boxed with extras galore (memory paks, rumble paks, controllers etc) for £25 off eBay. People need to get real with those valuations.

    I always wince whenever I see a Gamegear for sale. You just know the caps haven't been replaced and the console will fail after a week. (If it even gets that far!)

    Next to the NES 72 pin, I'd put it up there with the most guaranteed problem to occur with a newly purchased second hand console.

    At least the 72 pin is an easy fix though!

    Very true, the GG cap kit especially the sound board can be a right mess.

    Was that one I had to bypass the pcb with a piece of wire to get the sound working again? One board was so corroded, the tracks on the pcb had been eaten through & needed to be bypassed. They really are terrible for cap problems

    Also, how are MISB items verified if the box has no see through parts without opeing the box, instantly lowering its value?

    On adverts? Everything is new, regardless of its its used or not.
    In reality? Box seals etc maybe. If there's no box seals, I'd be fairly sure its been opened by someone to at least have a peek. Not every box has a seal, so if there's none, its safe to open to verify contents

    haha, i was looking at it again there too.. where the coin door should be, it looks like there is a big wooden bit there, with some sort of yellow thing on it. he seems to have avoided taking photos of that area. id love to see what it looks like.

    Also powered by a power house optiplex 270 PC which is has a CPU capable of multi-threading.:eek:
    And to boot, a gigabit network card....integrated.
    And f**k me sideways..the sticks and buttons have been shipped from the Mecca of arcade gaming.

    This sh1t is the real deal..my god how has it not been snapped up with a beast of a PC at the heart of this custom made arcade cab extravaganza.
