Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Taking break between 2 coats of varnish on external doors

I've put on the first coat of oil-based varnish on my external boiler house mahogany doors.

It takes 24 hours before the 2nd cost can go on. Being Ireland there's every possibility that it may rain a little in this 24 hour period after which I would need to wait for the doors to dry again before I can varnish them.

The night should be dry tonight, but it might rain tomorrow afternoon.

Will it be a problem if I have to wait a few days to find a dry spell before 2nd coat goes on?

    It won't be a problem. :)
