Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Looking for a Freesat HD+ STB with smart features (BBC I player etc)

What is the difference between the various brands ? Ive heard people speak highly of Manhattan and even more highly of Humax over cheaper brands (e.g. Bush, Sagecomm) but what are the benefits ?

Do all models have both HDMI and SCART(RGB) and do any have USB recording features ?

Also do the various brands work equally well on non-Freesat and even non-28 E channels ?

Do all/any freesat remotes have that handy feature of being able to control the TV volume channel and input setting that Sky remotes do ?

Don't think Manhattan is in the same league as Humax, though I'm happy enough with my mine. If you have the money everything I've read or seen suggests Humax is the way to go.

I'm thinking of upgrading my 5yr old Humax....... For a new Humax.

Says it all really I suppose. Not had one minutes bother with my old model.

Then again, I have a spare 1tb hard drive, might just stick that in the old one and keep it.
