Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Howdy all!.

    I'm an 18 year old guitarist, looking to start a band (teenage guitarist, wants to start a band, nothing new there eh? :o).

    But, i want to do something different!. I'm sick of the modern boring indie music scene, despise the generic emo music scene and was never a fan of the whole metal scene :).

    I'm living in KK at the moment, but will be moving to dubuhlin next year for college.

    I wanted to know if anyone in either of those places was interested in starting up an alternative band, in the true sense of the word. People who spend their time in their bedroom jamming along to hendrix, zeppelin, the stones (rolling and roses!), pearl jam, radiohead, pink floyd, smashing pumpkins, RATM and maybe some post rock thrown in there too.

    It wouldn't matter if you're not a john entwistle, an eric clapton, a john bonham or a thom yorke....

    ....Young or old, dude or dudette, i'd be happy just to find anyone who's interested in the simple joys of making some noize. So,any takers? :o.
