VGA to TV converters

Just got a new laptop but it only has a vga output. Just wondering if anyone has evey used a vga to tv converter and how good they found it.

Also was it expensive and where did ya get it from.

I used one quite a few years ago. I didn't pay for it, so I don't know what it cost, but I was not impressed with the results. An old TV with a CRT has pretty poor resolution, and it was hard to read text. Was OK for presentations with big text. I now have a LCD TV with a VGA input on the back, and there's no comparison.

Bought one of these didnt expect much but picture quaility is very good perfect for watching movies on tv

not sure who i bought it off tbh could be a different person looks the same anyway.

On another not going from composite video to laptop does EASYCAP units are very good allows you to plugin lots of stuff unto laptop screen such as playstation sky box all that lark
