Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi,
I am looking to buy a tablet to store all my lecture notes and problem sheets to save me printing them everytime before a tutorial or lecture (the 5c adds up).
I am looking at the Nexus 7 or the Vodafone Smart Tab 2. But is the 7" screen large enough/high enough res to see a full A4 page clearly?

If I have to go 10" I will look at the Nexus 10 but I dont want to spend a lot of money on something I will mainly use to store notes and browse the web.

Not a problem for reading and marking notes. Resolution is good enough. Just don't expect to be doing much typing on it

The typing is indeed fairly labourous on a Nexus, but it is possible to get a gist of lecture on it (was storing it on Evernote). I've tried to record a lecture, but the sound quality was poor and AFAIR there is no specialised microphone plug.

It's big enough to read material on but a bit too small for typing and the like.

Thanks for all the advice. I will still be bringing along a refill pad to take notes. Just want it for reading the stuff they put online. So no need for a 10". If so might be going Nexus shopping on Wednesday :D
