    this thread has prob been done 100 times but wanted to see other peoples thoughts.having just caught up on GOT season 3 namely 'the red wedding'
    got me thinking about times ive actually been in shock after a tv episode.

    here is my attempt at a top 5.

    may contain spoilers....

    5-sopranos-
    tony killing christopher
    4-lost-
    we have to go back
    3-got-
    red wedding
    2-house of cards-
    zoe barnes death

    1-breaking bad-
    run!!!

    haven't seen season 2 yet but having watched the original i dont feel it has been spoiled. Am still curious to see how it happens. R.Kelly song comes to mind.

    Actually im watching final ep of True Detective tonight, wanna save me the bother?

    Breaking Bad, Season 5. Episode is called "Dead Freight".
    Towards the end of the episode, a young boy comes across Walter, Jessie and Todd as they are stealing methlamyne (sp?) from a freight train. Todd shoots and kills the boy without a second thought, just after giving him a little wave.

    That was like a kick in the stomach. Screen cut to black pretty much instantly, so you had no chance to digest what had just happened.
