Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

VW Polo..... half full glass button

    Hello all,

    Just bought a 02 1.2 vw polo today.
    Great yoke but on the dash just beside the radio/cd player there is a big button with a half full glass with a straw??

    No manual came with the car and couldn't find anything about it online either.

    Anyone ever owned a polo know what it does??

    It could be the "oil-auto dump button".. :D

    I lolled a teensy bit tbh. Jasus, I'd have pressed it just in case it was a drinks dispenser.

    haha i pressed it earlier alright but it did nothing. Maybe it needs a poke with a screwdriver or something.

    They are notorious for breaking and getting stuck shut. Carefully prize the bottom right corner out a few mm and you will see a white button, press that and it releases and resets the mechanism

    It's bust alright id say. got the cover off and the rest of it seems to be stuck in there alright. i'll go play around with that white button though now, as i spotted it earlier.

    Only thing not working in the car so ain't all bad.
