Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Just imagine, a mystical land where the country doesn't grind to a halt because everyone has snow tyres and chains!!

This gets on my nerves. Canada knows it's coming, every year. We can have several winters where there is no snow and barely any frost at all. You can't compare the two. Snow chains seriously damage roads. Ditto winter tyres. Governments of colder countries are ambivalent to them for that reason, they're just regarded as a necessary evil. We can't justify the cost of the damage they do to the roads here for the tiny amount of time they might actually be useful.

Ever experience the 'roads' in Winnipeg? And I use the term 'roads' loosely here.
