    Excellent! Now the next question............ how to dry the drying towel? It holds so much water it takes ages and the OH won't let me use the drier (or so she thinks).

    Just hang it on the line after wringing it out. It will dry nicely. I put mine on a radiator if the heat is on.

    Listen to your OH - best to leave it dry naturally. Wring it out as best you can, and hang it on the line....not always ideal. Ive a coat hook on the back of the door in the utility room, that I hang it on....once its wrung, it shouldnt drip. Will be dry by the next time you require it! :)

    I've never had to wring mine. I just hang it on an indoor line and it's completely dry by the following weekend.

    That's true.

    One other thing is it needs to be completely dry before putting it back in the bag otherwise it will start to smell.

    How many times can it be used without washing, once it's only used as a drying towel?

    If you've washed the car properly...it shouldn't need to be washed often.
    Mine needs to be washed, but if I do and don't rescue it in time it gets taken for drying the dog :mad:

    I throw my towel in the washing machine.
    Hang it on the line,
    Once dry fluff it up in the tumble dryer.

    One tip for drying your car. After washing it, just use the open end of a garden hose to Flow water over the car, It will remove a vast amount of water prior to using your towel.

    My towel seems to attract rain if I hang it outdoors, indoor line is a good idea.

    I've recently got a 430 M-Sport so have been spending time looking after it.

    I've now given it a good detailing with

    Bilberry Wheel Cleaner
    Swissvax HP netural 2BM wash
    Autoglym Super Resin
    Dodo Juice Purple Haze
    Dodo Juice Super Natural Hybrid Sealant
    Gtechniq glass sealant
    Poorboys Wheel sealant
    Wolfs Chemicals Black Out
    Auto Finesse - Mercury Metal Polish

    It's looking great!

    Detailed 2 Mercedes this week both cars have been washed, detarred, compounded,washed again,waxed,and interiors cleaned thoroughly
    18 hours work to get both done
    Happy with the results as neither car has ever been detailed since new

    washed
    detared
    polished
    tyres dressed
    leather cleaned
    Carpets and mats hoovered and cleaned
    Plastics and glass steamed, cleaned and dressed

    Being realistic, going forward you won't be able to get a powerful petrol car unless it's an M/RS/AMG whether you need a diesel or not.

    Fact of like in Ireland's motoring future.
