Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

LED TV in Hot Room?

I lent my sister my LED TV when I left to live in Germany for a few months last summer. All is good, however recently she installed a stove in the sitting room where the tv is. The room is now very hot and I'm worried that this will mess up the tv.

Has anyone a LED at home in a similar environment?

Unless the tv is sitting on a wall over the stove or something it should be fine.

No, it's in the corner. Near it but not over it.

we have a 42" Plasma in the sitting room with a stove in there. The stove is on all during the winter and the room gets very hot.

No problems at all so far an we have had the tv over 5 years. And Plasma TV's get much hotter than LED TVs, so my guess is that you should be ok.
