Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Either an ordinary B license or a C1 depending on the gross vehicle weight

You could drive the one above with a B licence as it is but once you put a car on the back it will weigh more then 3.5 tonnes so you'd need a C1.

does the licence not go on the GVW and not the weight at the particular time, for example before i got me EC i wasn't allowed to drive a tractor unit with no tralier

I dont think any transit except the extra long wheelbase jumbo transit with a tachograph has a gvw above 3.5t

There is a Jumbo 430 (new model is a 460) available in single cab and MWB, or EF (Extended Frame). Without being able to see the numbers on the door, it's hard to tell if that's a 350 or 4XX.

We have a 350 EF Single Cab chassis with a GRP body and lift on the back, which left it with a payload of 950kg. I'd guess that the GRP body and lift probably weigh less than a steel flat bed with hydraulics, so a 350 configured that way would only be suitable for carrying Motorbikes or G-Whizz type sh1te before it's overloaded.

Overloading could have serious consequenses if caught and weighed, and may also invalidate insurance. Don't know why people use Transit 350's for recovery.
