Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Well well. Maybe they'll come over here and do the same for ComReg. They seem to be having difficulty getting their speed measurement initiative off the ground. It's now into its fifth year, without a single line of data published.

    At this stage I don't know why they don't just partner with Smaknows as many of the ISP's have done here.

    I suppose then they would have to actually report the true situation and we couldn't have that!

    Because it would show up the NBS as a lie and upset their Mobile Friends.

    Comreg is funded by big Telecoms companies and raises revenue for the Treasury selling Spectrum, with most income from Mobile.
    Result:
    They care nothing for small ISPs, consumer, spending money policing CE marked CFLs, LEDs, Wall Wart chargers, built in SMPSUs etc for RF interference or protecting non-mobile spectrum or promotion of non-Mobile use of spectrum.

    As a regulator they make the Regulation of Anglo Irish Bank look exemplary.

    Nearly 10 years ago ISPs were supposed to adverts real Peak time average speeds and minimum speeds.

    Everyone still quotes maximum. This is particularly a LIE for Mobile as the peak or Maximum assumes only ONE user with perfect signal!
