Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

would like to start polishing and detailing my own and maybe mates cars too....guessing a decent all-in kit is what I'm after and I've been shopping around for a decent deal....I know that to a fair degree reading up that you get what you pay for and there's a lot of choices to be made and fans of certain products...
what I have learned so far is that I need a safe dual action polisher + pads/polish/sealant/tape/claybar and proper wash bucket/mitt/towel...here's what I was considering...please point me in the right direction, also if anyone knows of a current group deal going on at mo I'd appreciate it as I want to try keep the cost as best I can...thanks!

You pretty much have listed all the things you will need! You've just forgotten tar remover & fallout / iron remover (though not totally necessary)

Also, I would recommend a heavier grade clay, the ultra fine wont be the best on a car that hasnt been clayed before...its idealy for doing it again after a few months. And depending on what clay you buy, you'll need lubricant too.

Chemical Guys Blitz is a very hand product, but durability wouldnt be the best - a few weeks perhaps, so ideally a wax or sealant would be used first, and after every wash or two to use Blitz to boost shine and add a bit of extra protection.
