Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

For the past couple of months the speedo and tacho needles would stay in the "key off" position for a couple of seconds after the engine was started and running, then jump to life and behave normally, although one time at least the trip counter skipped forward 0.3 Km.

Always a first time starter, the car started needing a second crank to get going if switched off for a short time when fully warmed up.

Finally the Red Immobiliser LED in the middle of the instruments started flashing on the way home last week, didn't get a chance to note the code (didn't realise there was one being morsed out), it was gone the next morning.

The next evening the engine would not crank at all, even though lights and radio would come on, had to get it jumped leaving work. Then it stalled (driver?) on the way home and needed to get jumped again.

Solution? Bought a new battery, the one in it was 9 years old.

It's been more than a week now and all the above problems have all gone away.

    Fingers crossed.

Sharing, might help someone else out.

    Regards,

    - B
