Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    It would be nice, but the problem with worldpainter maps is that Villages, Ravines, Fortresses, Temples etc. don't get generated.

    Yeah that is the problem, I'm sure if they ever update that, it's possible to convert my map

    Also why is the area so small, can only go between 2000 and -2000 in both axis, and spawn is pretty much in a corner.

    I've enabled /sethome and /home as a temporary measure, still no clue what's causing the problem.
    Are mob farms allowed now?

    You are allowed farm mobs at a spawner, but not by making something that kills them automatically.

    Will make it bigger when people start filling it up. Hardly anyone has even left the spawn yet.

    Because there's nowhere really to go :P its mostly desert, ice, swamp or water

    There's barley anywhere on the mainland to make a town though, there are only 4 biomes, and none are particularly good.

    Fairly sure its primarily server-side and not client-side like Rei's or similar so at best it'll do nothing and more likely it'll cause a version mismatch and won't let you log on to the server.

    In other news have just ragequit after hitting Lv30 to get... Unbreaking 3.

    Nope, It actually works grand once it is installed on your client.. Which I found odd but won't complain:)

    Are you sure Buttany? I'd test it myself but the installation instructions cause physical pain simply looking at them (much less trying to decipher them) and I don't think it works with MCPatcher anyway :/

    EDIT: Just tried it in SSP with MCPatcher using both the mod itself and the PlayerAPI. Game works fine with no errors but SmartMoving doesn't work in any way, shape or form.

    EDIT 2: Got a Standalone setup working. Now can't connect to SMP.

    I don't see how anyone could get this to work on the server without Hax. And Hax are baaaad.

    Just had a look and it seems it can be installed serverside, Meaning everyone can benefit from it... Can we get it Dec? :D

    The one where DeVoRe had moria and stuff. Cherrytown etc. It was my favourite map.

    Yeah, It was in the early beta stages so there wasn't pistons, stone bricks etc.

    So what's the story with rules? Is griefing permitted outside the safezone? (Say, for example, the structure on the island at 1310,-1709). I have no interest in griefing, but wondering if it is encouraged or not. The map makes structures very vulnerable.

    No griefing, we have logblock to check if any damage is spotted. If a building is locked with lockette you are not allowed break into it.

    PvP outside of safezones is allowed, and encouraged however.

    Okay... there are currently 3 normal (11x11) and 4 small (9x11) plots at spawn that are not yet reserved, if anyone wants to live in the town centre. Oh and don't forget about the plot you reserved there Rach :p

    Where will the dock be built though? There's a tiny one already behind Moonraker's gaff but I doubt that's the one people were talking about building...

    I think it should be in a bay near spawn, with a big harbour wall and decorative tall ships. It should also have 2x2 spots for us to park boats in.
