Why is it that lads can't comment honestly on a girl's looks without being accused of coming onto her.

I actually thought a disservice was being done to the girl by being compared to Drew Barrymore so i felt compelled to post.
It's actually the only incidence in this thread (IIRC) where the non-celeb was more attractive than the celeb, so i couldn't let it go

Drew Barrymore is not what i'd describe as good-looking- not classically anyway...

Yeah, she is not a ugly girl, just normal enough looking. I was surprised she got the role in charlies angels. Suited to roles like the wedding singer where she is not meant to be overly good looking. -sorry bout the mike skinner! you obviously don't like the music, he is not exactly an ugly bloke.

I posted one of Bonnie Tyler and also mentioned the poster was better looking for the same reason (i.e. not "coming on", just so they don't think they are bad looking)- do people really try and "get their hole" on forums!? other than ones dedicated to it...
