Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Diesel or petrol?

    Year?

If it was first thing in the morning it could have been dew being burned out.

With so little info in the OP it's just pure speculation at this point.

op seems to want a game of 20 questions.

Is it too much trouble to state the make of car, year, mileage & any other pertinent info?

hi i was driving down a hill for about a mile today when i press the gas pedal an a puff of white smoke came out the car went kinda dead for fraction of a second but drove perfect about 20 miles after that it happened about 6 months ago but only seems to happen on the same hill

Tbh, you should get it checked by a mechanic.
That said, it doesn't seem to be a major issue.

Post car full model and year or we won't be able to help you.

cud it be condensation 1997 polo 93 miles

Condensation will be burned off during startup. It's not uncommon for cars to have a little extra white smoke during startup, but once car is warmed up there shouldn't be any extra smoke.

    How is the coolant level?

    Ok that's good.
Can you check the oil too?

When was last time you filled up on coolant or oil?
