Looking to build my first gaming PC and build it as cheap as possible. Maybe around the price of a PS4/Xbox One (around €400).
Looking to play GTA V and DayZ mostly.
Don't need an OS as I will use SteamOS.
    Any ideas?

Would it be worth while going for the GTX 950 for an extra €50?
Is there a difference between MSI 950 and other brands?

...and it's totally worth jumping the budget to €500 for the GTX 950.

Definitely, I'll be uploading i3 4160 and 950 benchmarks tonight on a couple of games if you want to see it performing

Cheap out on brand at your peril, every brand makes some dud units, some more than others.
    MSI's coolers are pretty good.

I litreally came here to post this exact build, wow, what are the chances. Anyway I have this build, perfect for me, 30-60fps, medium-high settings, good entry level computer. I play Arma (Dayz) on high, OK fps, GTA V on lowest settings but 60 fps for days

    Digi's Benchmarks

i5 and i3 comparing a 950 vs an R9 290, few amonalies of the i3 getting better mins than the i5, but thats likely just how I was moving
