Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Phillips Android TV wont fully shut off

Ok, recent problem with my Phillips 40" Android TV. When power button is pressed it will not fully shut down, thus it seems to just turn off the screen. Before it used to fully shut down and when powered back up it would display the Phillips logo and take about 30 seconds to boot.

I know its not turning off as the remote keyboard has an LED on and when you power on the screen displays instantly.

Checked settings but cannot find anything regarding shutdown.

    Look for ECO setting.

Ok, very strange....Last night I slept in living room as decorating bedrooms currently. At 2am and 6am the TV turned itself on and shut itself off again! Weird.

Checked eco setting and its set to normal.

Freesat TVs turn them selves on at 3am.

Try changing the ECO settings to something else.

No, they come on to check for updates to software or station tuning. The EPG is downloaded as required from the satellite when you look for it, hence the delay.
