Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Where to start

My marriage is over, I am numb. My decision but only because my husband is too oblivious to think about our relationship. Any effort to save our relationship from him would have, until today. I've had enough.

I have a young baby and no income so we are relying totally on my husbands income at the moment. I am happy to leave the family home with the baby but have nowhere to go. We don't need a womens refuge, he is not abusive.

I don't know where to start.

Are you in Dublin? If so, Dolphin House is a good place to start. They have a Womens Aid drop-in centre there, even if you weren't physically abused, they will give you advice to get you started in what you need to do from here, particularly in terms of gaining financial independence. I think it's only open in the mornings, you may need to check that, but they're extremely helpful.

Talk to your family and friends, you need all the support and listening ears you get, maybe stay with them for the present and discuss temporary financial help weekly with your husband, are you sure this is what you want, would ye both be open to seeking help, counselling, a baby is a great joy and blessing and it brings up lots of issues, good luck to you, keep talking
