Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Finally managing to average sub 6s for a tempo again and it feeling controlled

That's nice. Only 5 and a bit months for you to get that pace down and string 26 of them together if you want to take the 13th of April marathon crown ;)

Phoenix Park on a cool winter's evening, just as the sun set. The orange, steadily dimming light cast shadows on grazing deer roaming the 15 acres. Everything was still and I pulled every tack on loop I know out of the bag in order to stay running. I've lived and ran around the world but there is no better place to run than that park.

Its Friday, late afternoon, with a gorgeous orangey sky of a sunset. You are running downhill on a perfect grassy trail , with a smile on the face.

    Saturday morning, cold and misty.
Ten miles with the lads, putting the world to right.
Back home before anyone else is up.
Milky porridge and a hot shower.
Work week forgotten, sorted for the weekend.

Park Runs are great. Kudos to the organisers and volunteers for making them happen.
Managed to tag one on the end of my Long run this morning; 16 miles done by 10am but a nice quality 5k at the end. I'd never get that kind of quality in the long run if not for the Park Run, great initiative and great facility for runners!!

Going for a run on a cold, crisp day like today, with my college assignment for the week finished, gorgeous yellow leaves underfoot and the smell of turf fires in the air.

Not trying to be a hipster here (waaay too late off the mark for that!) but it really is as good as 'Never Mind'.

Mince pies with a dollop of cream.

    Mince pies in custard.

Mince pies in custard with a little square of chocolate.

    Tesco Finest Mince Pies.

    Mulled wine.

    Trifle and cream.

Mulled wine, with some mince pies.
