    Hello all,

We recently got 6 cayuga ducklings which I suspect are cross-bred with Mallards somewhere along the line. Anyway, they're getting to an age where they'll soon be able to fly as their wings are now fully grown.

I was thinking we should clip them, But our last 3 ducks ( mallard cross' ) never used to fly, although we had them for a year or two. We'd just clip their wings ourselves but after having the last three not flying( and a friend also having some that don't fly ) is their any need to put them through the stress of clipping their wings if they won't fly anyway?

Though we've had them from young they really don't like human contact apart from putting food in front of them :pac:

    Thanks for the help!
