Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Theory test ID requirements changed

My girlfriend was refused to do her theory test yesterday because her ID was out of date. The same ID (a passport) was accepted twice before .
She was told due to changes they made to ID requirements she was not allowed do the test and would lose the €40 . Seems to be a bit of a money racket using the cheap airline model of charging hard for a customers mistakes. Why do private companies get monopolies in essential Irish services .

If she had bothered to bring correct ID she wouldn't be out the €40, she's to blame not the company.

She bothered to bring the correct ID in the previous 3 times with no problem there was no warnings about ID changes when booking.

There were no 'ID changes', her passport was out of date. It's her responsibility to ensure her ID is in order, you shouldn't need to be told that the ID needs to be in date.

Would have been 120 quid cheaper to study the questions first... 89 euro to get a new 10 year express passport too...
