    Hi,

Am going to apply for my test. Do you think that an old Honda CRV jeep would be a disadvantage to drive in the test. It can be quiet noisy when turning in first gear during the turnaround etc. But I am comfortable driving it. Is there any other alternative?

    Cheers,
    Jack

The alternative is to use an ADI's car but, if you're comfortable with the Honda and its fine for the test ie NCT, tax, no warning lights etc etc then use it.

Always drive the car you're used to unless you can't.

Shouldn't be in first gear going around a roundabout and when entering one you should get to second as quick as possible.

Apologies, read that as if you said roundabout, not turnabout but still very strange why the car would be loud.

If you're comfortable driving it that's the most important bit, imo.
