Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I am trying to connect a mobile phone to my computer via a data cable to send text
    messages from a java program.

I am having a lot of problems using java comm and looking for the com.sun.win32 driver.
I need to get this working, please give me suggustions or point in in the right way

First thing to do is get the mobile phone installed as a gSM modem.

Once you have this done, make sure you can connect to it with hyperterminal and issue commands like "AT"

Once you have this working fine (and you'll know what com port it is/baud rate etc) then I'd ignore JavaComm (for windows) and use RxTx
