... well not really, more just changing game preferences ;) I figured that as the Construction Set didn't ship on the disk this time around - it's available as a 6.5mb download - some folk might have missed out on how simple it is to modify many of the game’s settings. After all there is no need to download particular mods when it takes two seconds to do the same thing yourself. In fact there’s well over two thousand parameters available in the Gameplay->Settings category. He’s a flavour of some of them:

    - Is the constant "Loading Area" message breaking your immersion in the game world? Delete this parameter’s value.
    sLoadingArea

    - Horse turns like a WW II tank? Fiddle with these settings.
    iHorseTurnDegreesPerSecond
    iHorseTurnDegreesRampUpPerSecond

    - Want one hit stealth kills? Bump up the attack damage multipler!
    fPerkSneakAttackMarksmanNoviceMult to fPerkSneakAttackMarksmanMasterMult
    fPerkSneakAttackMeleeNoviceMult to fPerkSneakAttackMeleeMasterMult

    - Want to recover all of your arrows? Set the recovery chance to 100.
    iArrowInventoryChance

    - Tired of micro-managing skill usage to get to just to get "+5" on an attribute during level up? Modify the value of iLevelUpNMult, where N is the number of times skills tied to an attribute need to be used in order to raise that attribute by the set value.
    iLevelUp01Mult to iLevelUp10Mult
