How can you have low self esteem when your pu**y is on demand on the Internet 365 24/7?

They do it for nothing more than the money. You have to have a certain mindset to be able to take the d1ck on the interwebz. Crazy! But god bless them!

I am not sure how safe it is to assume that people do porn just for the money. The internet has sites where people make porn and publish it for no other reason than to have other people see it. Pictures, videos, audio, the lot. They make no money from it at all.

the people I have the most respect for are the men
if I make eye contact with myself in the reflection on my monitor I lose my erection, how they can manage it in a studio full of people is beyond me

A medical study showed they dont suffer from constipation either, i wonder why?

I have on a couple of occasions done things in front of people. Some people tend to just focus on the task at hand and forget everyone else is there. Others actually get off on being watched and so it has the opposite effect on them as it does you.

I think myself - a little of both actually :)

Nothing like cash in hand for a shot to the face to make you feel like you can do anything.

They usually look like this: :pac:

The arse will never fall out of that business, might fall out of the actresses though.

Much like harping on nonsense about Eastern Euopean women being trafficked and chained and beaten in brothels against their will (because what man doesnt get turned on shagging a bruised, tearful woman eh!) feminists seem to have some amount of leeway allowing them to spout unproven nonsense. I have never known any girl who has worked in porn (to my knowledge) but have known a few prostitutes, erotic masseuses and strippers (socially, I might add :pac:You would be suprised how many girls get involved it in Australia) Money is the main drive, and behind that is just a general lack of inhibitions.

Cuktural thing to. There just seems to be less stigma attached to an East European or Korean girl being in this business than some bird from Sligo (have only known of two Irish girls in the aforementioned businesses, it is beyond rare tbh. Same as the way there seems to be about a half dozen, at best, pornos out there with Irish women in them. Cultural stigma of it)

There is always advertising on these sites so someone is making money.

Oh for sure. But my comment was about the people engaging in the acts on camera and what their motivation is for doing it. Not the people who are providing the service for them to publish it for the world - which is an entirely different thing.

I read another article talking about the same thing recently and it said compared to normal women they had higher rates of drug addiction, but that was just because of their "experimental nature".

Ha, more like they were addicted to drugs first and do porn to feed the habit.

When you've freed yourself from the idea that sex is something to feel dirty or guilty about, why would you have low esteem if something that much fun was your job? Surely sitting in a small cubicle all day like a factory chicken churning through endless meaningless drivel in excel is a far more degrading way to earn an existence?

The article is talking about porn actresses i.e. women that make a living from doing it. Not some people with a camera phone.

But what do they compare these statstics to?

For example, I once read that something like 45% of Irish people aged 16- 40 (or thereabouts) have taken an illegal drug at least once according to a UN or EU study.

Of course, this is complete nonsense. It would be easily 90%, maybe more. Most people in that age group who do not generally even agree with drug use have been cajoled into it at least once or twice, usually whilst pissed. I know lad who have eventually taken their one and only pill or line by their mid 20s because they were drunk and wanted to see hat the fuss was about. In all likelihood around 40% of that age group would use an illegal drug at least once a year.

Well self esteem is a difficult thing to quantify in itself.

Come to think of it, it makes sense that an uninhibited woman with a sex addiction can make two weeks of a normal womans pay in a half hour sex scene and spend the rest of her fortnight doing as she pleases while the rest of the world slogs it in the 9 to 5.

That's one way to look at it....

The other is a drug addicted women who is desperate will get air tighted and borderline abused for a couple of bucks, legally.

But hey, maybe she likes it?

Cum gurgling seems to be doing wonders for their confidence. :pac:

That's a big assumption to make. Nobody wants to see Amy Winehouse or Kate Moss being ridden on screen. I imagine most porn actors and actresses, even if they do dabble in drugs, otherwise probably maintain a fairly clean lifestyle in order to maintain their physique and stamina. There's no way you can spend a day in a shoot if you've had ten pints the night before.

Nobody wants to see a crack whore or a heroin junkie taking one.

To be fair I would imagine there is no bigger confidence boost for a lady than someone spaffing all over your bangers tbh :pac:

That's a real glass-half-empty view of the world. Most of the drug addicts I've met who reach a point of such desperation are seldom easy on the eye due to the destructive nature of addiction, so perhaps you're just a wee bit wide of the mark?

I'm commenting that according to their study there is a higher rate of drug use it porn stars which they put down to their experimental nature. I would counter that with they most likely took drugs before getting into porn.

Many people can take drugs and you wouldn't be able to tell and I know for a fact there is quite a few pornstars who have and still made films.

Of course, complete nonsense. Your own wild guess based on the tiny percentage of the Irish population you have met is obviously much more reliable

Certain drugs take alot more physically than others mind. For example, a crack, ice or heroin addict will experience more rapid body decline than someone on cocaine daily or several times weekly. Lindsay Lohan and Katy Frence apparently were/ have recently been heavy cocaine users, but still looked attractive whereas, say, Winehouse or that heiress woman who died in London a few months back, whose crack and heroin addictions left them ragged.

Well no it's probably a balanced and realistic view of thew world.

I've met drug addicts that you couldn't tell are drug addicts, depends what type of drugs you're on about. Crack, coke, meth, prescription drugs.....not all make you look like a heroin addict instantly with no teeth.

What way may I be wide of the mark, the study says there is a higher rate of drug use with them?

    Indeed it is.

    Cheers.

If these survey figures were accurate this country would not have any level of a sustainable drug trade.

It doesn't have a sustainable drug trade. Have you ever tried getting decent acid or pills outside of Dublin or Belfast. impossible.

I think it's a generational thing, My parents and their peers I can honestly say have never done a drug in their life, where as I dont know anyone that is 35 or under that hasnt taken drugs at least one time in their life, and I know a lot of people.

Again agreed. But just because they are doing it for money does not allow us to assume they are all ONLY doing it for money. It is not a safe assumption and is one that would require more study.

The reason I mention the sites where people do it just for fun is to show there ARE people who do it just for fun. I see no reason to assume the two groups are mutually exclusive and there is likely to be overlap between the two.
