Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Due to a recent incident where my left front wheel tried to overtake me when the bearing calved (on the way to have it changed, ironically enough), I need to get a replacement Front Left Wing for my 2002 E46 Tourer.

Problem is, they're like hen's teeth so I was wondering if the saloon ones are the same.

I've checked on RealOEM and it tells me that they're different part numbers but looking at the breakers on eBay and the like, they mark them as Touring/Saloon wings. I don't really want to get one down from a breakers and then spend time trying to fit it only to find they're slighlty different.

    Anyone know if they're compatible?

Thank you gents, I presume one from a 2002 saloon will be grand in terms of facelifts and that.

Facelift in the e46 didn't affect the wings, there were bumper and lighting revisions alright though. You'll be fine.

As it turns out, it did. I've ended up with a pre- and post-facelift wing. The side repeaters were re-located, the mounting points are different and the aperture for the front indicator. My own mistake though.

However the touring and saloon wings are interchangeable as long as you're the right side of the facelift.

Ah it's my own fault for not looking at my own with a photo of the one I was buying beside it. The differences are fairly obvious when you look at the two side by side, not so much when in isolation.

I'm just updating the thread for the benefit of searches.
