    Came across this guy on kuro5hin from a story on his insightful and interesting take on drugs policy throughout the world.

    He's also done a hell of a lot in terms of computing; he created the alt. newsgroups, and is involved in cross-network tunneling and spam-prevention technologies. Just thought I'd post here as his site encompasses both sides of this forum: civil rights and computing security and privacy.
