Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I have a Samsung smart TV in an area with poor WiFi. I would like to connect it to my Vodafone router HG556a (Huawei EchoLife). The cable run is between 15/20 meters. Using Cat 6 or Cat 5 cable.
Is the distance OK for accessing the router in order to use the smart facilities on the TV. ? I know I can use Powerline adapters if necessary but this might be a more suitable option.
    Thanks for any advice.

No problem at all. You can go up to 100m if necessary.

You should go for cat 5e or cat 6.

You could probably even buy a long 'patch lead' which will already have RJ45 terminations at each end.
