Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Did he not do well with Middlesbrough? Though it is a bit of random appointment.

he fluked his way to the uefa cup final with Boro.

He's been angling at getting the job for weeks.Requesting meetings with them and asking for a tour of there stadium.

+1. He was also a very solid assistant at United, one bad qualification campaign doesn't wash his previous record away.

never really rated him as a manager but to the dutch who wouldent have been constantley told how bad he can be in the press he probably reads like a really good manager and as high profile as they can go to boot. Former England manager who has coached at a World cup with some big names who previous to that brought one of the less fancied Premiership teams to a Uefa cup final.
