Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Does anyone have any experience with compressors? I'm looking to buy something for spray painting in general and wondered what would be the minimum recommended size of air tank.
Would 50 liter be sufficient and also, the minimum recommended air pressure/bar.

    Any thoughts appreciated.

for spraying or any kind of actual decent use power tools youd want a 50 litre minimum.

personally id reccomend this : http://www.sipuk.co.uk/sip-airmate-hurricane-v245-80-oil-free-direct-drive-compressor-8cfm.html

for car paint a spray gun like this : http://www.sipuk.co.uk/sip-sapphire-hvlp-gravity-feed-spray-gun-6-4-cfm.html should suffice.

I've an Aldi one, and while it's grand for the few bits I do, it's no good for any thing serious. Even just using my 3/4 gun it's going a lot.

for spraying avoid direct drive units... look at belt drive. tank size is far less important that free air displacement. . If you plan on doing much spraying you need to be looking at 3hp. .
