Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Yaris bonnet release

    The bonnet release on the OH's yaris does not release the bonnet. If I extend the lever inside the car there is plenty of tension in the cable but still the catch at the bonnet won't undo. I've tried prizing up the bonnet while someone else held the lever extended but no joy. Anyone else experience this before and/or have any tips?

    Try the opposite. Pushing down on the bonnet while someone pulls the handle.

    To release the bonnet on the yaris you pull the lever inside the car, the bonnet will pop up a small bit, go around to the front of it. In the centre around the toyota badge put your hand under the bonnet and you will find a catch to release the bonnet fully.

    I know how to open the bonnet, the problem is; the bonnet doesn't release and pop up that 20-25mm.
