Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Sunrise & Sunset Cork

    Hey,

    As a final year college project I am hoping to find somewhere in or around cork
    where I would be able to see a full sunrise and follow it though the day to a sunset...from the one location...
    Does anybody know of a location where this is possible or even might be possible to view.
    I am going to contact county hall and visit some other locations.
    Any suggestions would be appreciated

    Can't think of any spot in particular off the top of my head. Perhaps Roches point or out a bit might be your best bet.
    But have a look at this software, tracks the sun and moon's movements on any given day from any point you choose.

    I think you'd need somewhere fairly high up.

    Close: Bunny Connellan's pub - Myrtleville

    Further away: Bray Head on Valentia Island, Kerry.

    Bray head is pretty high up

    This is a short but useful video from East to South West. You can clearly see the Skelligs (S) in the video. There's a longer clip there also, but it's not as good.
