Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Electric Ireland Issues

Hi can someone please advise. Basically my family has a house with two meters, one for main house and another for the attached granny flat.

The family member in the granny flat has been barred from the entire home by the courts for 2 years and the bill is in his name.

Tried explaining there is no point sending out letters to the house or ringing landline with "bill is due messages" as the person will be not be paying it and want the granny flats power cut off as its not in use.

They said it would cost €100 to close the account. Obviously we don't talk to the barred family member.

Is there anyway of getting this sorted, like sending a copy of the court order or a Garda case number to the Electic Ireland to get this account closed as we are sick of dealing with this.
