Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I'm looking for one of these as part of a 'just in case' kit for a trailer but can only find them on sale from US sources.

Has anyone bought on in Ireland or online with low shipping costs?

    thanks.

You could use a level up ramp, it would do the same.

A handy lad would cut it out of a block of wood, using a band saw.

You.'ll need a long and high enough one for to allow for suspension droop .

I have three pieces of 8"x2" nailed together like steps for 6" lift for at home. Bit heavy to be carrying around though.

What about the fact that for single wheeled axles or where you don't have two wheels side by side it simply won't work?

Thanks for the replies. Its for changing tyres on a double axle trailer in an emergency and I thought that plastic would be a lot lighter to drive around with than a block of wood.

I might try and use wood if I cant find this or similar in lightweight material.

Why don't you use the jack of the vehicle that is towing the trailer?

The 'trailer aid' can take up to 7000 Kg and seems to be able to do a quicker job.

Need to nail a strip of carpet to it, to stop it "running away" in front of the wheel you are trying to drive up it.
