Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Bus Éireann changing 133 Service Arklow/Wicklow-Dublin

Wanted to ask advice as I'm a user of this service and it's changing soon.

I live outside Rathdrum so mostly use this to get to and from Dublin several times a week.

We currently have two buses each way every day during the week, but this is going to be cut to one and the times changed.

However, I think there's a market for a minibus service between Arklow, Woodenbridge, possibly Aughrim, Avoca, Rathdrum, Glenealy and Wicklow, which could link in with half-hourly Wicklow-Dublin buses.

My local taxi firm looked at this before too, so I'm hoping he might serve the route with a small minibus.

Is there anyone I can suggest this to at Bus Eireann, or does anyone know if there would be grants available for the above, as the route is also used by tourists?

At the moment I believe some local associations are making representations to Bus Eireann.

Shouldn't Bus Eireann be made to look at growing/improving services through an awareness campaign and a feasability study before they cut services on a route?
