Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Financial Assistance/Grant for a PhD

This is probably a long shot but thought somebody on here may be able to shed some light. I have been on Jobseekers Allowance now for well over a year, I hold a level 8 Honours Degree (never received any grant or financial assistance while completing this) and Masters Degree Level 9 (which was funded by a research body). Anyway, after sending in numerous CVs for work and a few applications to research bodies for PhD funding, in which I have got nowhere, I was wondering if I would be applicable to receive some form of grant to apply to return to study a Phd? I rang my local citizens information but the person I dealt with wasn't sure. I have read the FAQs for the Back to Education Scheme and it states that you are inapplicable for BTEA if you already hold a postgrad qualification. I would be grateful of any further advice or peoples' experiences in similar situations is appreciated! :)
